Cooking Kitchen Fire
This kitchen fire was the outcome of a small gas powered stove being left unattended. The whole home was affected and as you can see the kitchen was at total loss. Once SERVPRO of Mesquite was called, our technicians went to the home and began cleaning the affected area by cleaning all soot and residue, sanitizing, and deodorizing the structure. After the cleaning process was complete, our technicians began the demolition process by pulling all non-salvageable materials including baseboards and cabinets so we could prepare for build back. The build back was successful and After all was said and done, the home owner was very pleased to see SERVPRO of Mesquite make things "Like it never even happened." Always remember to remain in your kitchen while cooking and keep anything that can catch fire such as oven mitts, utensils, towels, etc, away from the stove. It is also always a good idea to set yourself a timer that way you have a reminder that you are cooking something.
